Trusted computing options and solutions for mobile devices

Compartilhe:

Abstract:

The increasing use of smartphones in our lives, both for leisure and critical services, expands the attack surface, contributing to threats faced by applications. The concept of Trusted Computing is a way to mitigate these threats and make applications less susceptible to real attacks. This research suggests a systematic review of current literature on Trusted Computing methods for smartphones. The goal is to determine which technology proves most effective in terms of security, market prevalence, and computational efficiency. This study identified trustworthy computing technologies in hardware, software, and hybrid forms. The analysis revealed that hardware-based options are more robust in terms of security, whereas software and hybrid solutions offer greater computational capacity. Positive research outcomes are anticipated and expected to contribute to future exploration and experimentation in this field
