Estudo térmico do cimento Portland em diferentes condições de tempo de hidratação

Abstract:

The Portland cements made throughout the world are designed for general constructional use. The purpose of this study was evaluating the Portland cement anhydrous and prepare several pastes hydrated at different stages of hydration: after 2 hours, 12 hours and 28 days in order to obtain the thermal characterization using thermogravimetry (TG) as a main technique. Sample masses of 30 mg were used in a nitrogen atmosphere and heating ratios of 5, 10 and 20°C. The results obtained by TG showed the effect of time on the cement hydration, allowing to determine the mass loss by TG curves of the different stages of hydration.
