The minerals and ceramics production chain is an important segment of the mineral industry in the state of São Paulo, which is home to enterprises of varying sizes that account for a large part of Brazil’s production. There is an increasing need for this industry to optimize enterprises and industrial processes, including requirements such as qualifying raw materials and end products, rationalizing the use of energy consumption and protecting the environment.
IPT prepares diagnoses for the specification of mineral raw materials, evaluates the performance of industrial processes, identifies technological bottlenecks and deals with energy-related issues for these processes.
The Institute also provides assistance for the overall optimization of these enterprises, for example by establishing common mineral production units and ceramic mix centers in order to minimize environmental costs and enhance the competitiveness of these products on the domestic and international markets.
