IPT’s teaching activities are aimed at training professionals with solid training in the development and application of methodologies, techniques and processes, bearing in mind the technological changes and the economic and socio-environmental transformations that affect national development.
It seeks to train professors and researchers with a view to generating and disseminating knowledge linked to the scientific-technological complexes, emphasizing their interaction with the Brazilian economic and socio-environmental reality.
