Abstract:
The traceability of alternating magnetic fields can be made through the characterization of the dynamic behavior of field-generating coils used as calibration standards of measuring instruments. In this paper we develop the experimental arrangements and procedures to allow this characterization. We use as an example the calibration of a Helmholtz coil.
