Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to present the process of development and feasibility study of an educational kit (KiDiTen®), version II, automated, in accordance with the training for competence in Engineering, using concepts of Physics, Mathematics and Resistance of Materials, with the aim of taking the student to the basic concept of mechanical tension and belt tensioner. Using methodologies such as: Project-based Education (PLE), Problem-based Learning (PBL) and STEM approach and the concept of tensors in line with the modern aspects of the engineering complexity. This holistic view will take the student to the context of globalization 4.0, as it requires students resilience, to adapt to new technologies.
