Abstract
Results of studies carried out in aluminum cables during their installation in electrical transmission line are presented. This line was installed beside an old 345 kV A.C. one the abranged area of which was occupied with agriculture. The aluminum cables corroded after one week due to the presence of induce alternated current and to the copper ions from pesticides.
