Abstract:
In this paper is discussed the possibility of premature corrosion of reinforcement in porous concrete in which are concentration of air bubbles near the surface of carbon steel. In addition is presented a case study, being summarized the results of the assessment of air entrained concrete structures. The concrete with incorporated air is achieved through the addition of specific polymers that incorporate air bubbles and fluidizing the mixture. This concrete has been used in Brazil for structural purposes and sealing walls.
