Abstracts:
This document provides an overview of the Brazilian evaluation of innovative construction products, succinctly illustrating how to develop activities in the organ responsible for providing technical assessment documents in Brazil, SINAT – the National Technical Assessments of innovative products. For both, are presented: (i) the paths that must be traversed to grant document review technique (Datec) an innovative product, (ii) the general method of evaluating products, (iii) the types of products already SINAT approved. The Construction Industry has expressed concern with the performance and quality of innovative products, highlighting the importance of Technical Assessments in Brazil
