Technical opinions about continuous work at IT and Call Centers

The Labor Ministry requires that companies working on a 24/7 basis present a Technical Opinion issued by a qualified institution, justifying the reasons why the company’s work or activities must be performed in this way, i.e., which of the company’s activities require continuous hours or can only be performed outside of the normal working hours.

Companies that provide IT services and have client support systems normally fit this profile.

Help Desk or Call Center companies also have this problem, which has been aggravated by Federal Decree No. 6523 of July 31, 2008, which in turn regulates Law 8078 of September 11, 1990, establishing general rules for Customer Service – SAC by telephone.
