In line with society’s demands for more connectivity, mobility and automated processes with Intelligence agents, the Digital Technologies Business Unit promotes digital transformation through the development of intelligent Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions, with a focus on increasing the competitiveness of companies and the quality of life of the population.
The unit’s three lines of action are: Internet of Things and Embedded Systems; Software Engineering and Intelligent Transport, and Artificial Intelligence and Analytics. It delivers innovation integrated with IPT’s multidisciplinary knowledge, including partnerships with national and international universities, as well as strong integration with the technical community.
It is a unit recognized and accredited by trade associations and the government, either in the delivery of technological solutions or in the issuance of reports, opinions and technical reports, including the certification of ICT solutions. It is recognized and authorized by the Technology Area Committee of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation to carry out research and development activities within the Information Technology Law.
