Abstract:
The paper presents the experimental evaluation of concrete when subjected to high temperatures and it is emphasized how important this research advanced age of the concrete naturally aged to place aggressive environment (8 years), and the nature of the lithological added gaucho, who was basalt . Most research uses aggregate nature of limestone or granite. In addition, this study also shows the important contribution of the concrete inorganic pigment, with use of iron oxide (Fe2O3), as a feature useful in evaluating specific post-fire by changing the color of the concrete colored (pigmented). In the research were also evaluated: the residual mechanical properties (concrete and steel), the mineralogical characterization by X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis and thermogravimetry (ADT-TG) of concrete samples taken from different regions of the depths of the thermocouples to correlation to the levels achieved in temperature and changes in coloring inside / outside of the element).
