IPT performs standardized tests, analyses and technical evaluations of civil engineering components and products, especially products used in building projects such as windows, cement panels, drywall panels, door and window frames, floor and wall coverings, masonry bricks and blocks, roof tiles, partitions, doors, etc.
The Institute carries out mechanical tests for leakage and durability, among others, following Brazilian technical standards or international standards, at the client’s request. The analyses performed by IPT are used both for evaluation and for technological advice in the development and improvement of building products.
