Análise temporal da evolução da ocupação em duas áreas suscetíveis a movimentos gravitacionais de massa e inundação na cidade de São Paulo

Abstract:

The proliferation habitational weakening phenomenon’s, can be identified both in big and small cities. The natural disasters at São Paulo state are majority associated to hillside slips, inundations, erosions and rainstorms. The article’s main objective was the rainstorms and spatial assessments from two distinct region on São Paulo city to verify if existed a house occupation advance to areas of high risk and huge susceptibility to gravitational movements of mass and inundations mapped at Geological Risks’ and Susceptibility’s Charters between 2015 and 2021. Highlight the grown of occupations principally from 2018 to 2021 at the analyzed areas, in order from 70% to 90%, this growing might be associated/connected to pandemic COVID-19 scenario, which has resulted the income drop for thousands of Brazilian families, pushing/forcing a dislocation for precarious habitations, mainly on risk areas. Therefore, on the context presented on this paper, is highlighted the risks and susceptibility mapping at urban areas, being fundamental the risk management on preventive actions utilization in order to risks mitigating on habitational areas of each town, and instruct the urban planning and terrain’s future use.
