Abstract:
Despite the availability of advanced computational tools for engineering analysis, physical durability tests still are a decisive step in structural mechanical design of new products. Due to significant costs and durations of these tests, qualified people work in order to reduce the test execution time based on field data compression. In this paper, compression procedure characteristics are presented and benefits and limitations of its employment are pointed out.
