Abstract:
This work presents a systemic approach to deal with thematic networks between universities as a sociotechnical system using a metaphor derived from biology as tool for knowledge acquisition about these networks. A comparison between the characteristics of eusocial species and thematic networks is made, looking for the characteristics which lead to sustainable thematic networks
