IPT participates in the Brazilian Labeling Program of Procel in partnership with INMETRO. The Institute is accredited to carry out performance, energy efficiency and electrical safety tests of domestic water heaters. The scope of this program includes electric showers, electric water faucets, instant water heaters, accumulator water heaters, thermal tanks and solar heating systems.
The results of these tests are used by the industry to develop products and supply customers with information about product characteristics, on labels standardized by INMETRO.
This information is also valid for obtaining the Procel Seal issued by Eletrobras (Brazilian Federal Electricity System) for products with differentiated energy efficiency.
