Technological investigation of losses

Compartilhe:
Losses or accidents are undesirable events whose consequences vary from the simple loss of a few minutes up to the complete destruction of an industrial unit or construction. Once an accident has occurred, an investigation begins which may involve different types of studies, including criminal investigations, systemic investigations to prevent future events, or investigations for loss regulation.

IPT performs investigations based on internationally accepted methods that are applicable to a wide variety of losses, such as breakdown of machines, explosions, spills, chemical attacks, meteorological, hydrological or geological events, etc. In these cases, IPT issues statements of findings which contain the different aspects of the causal structure of accidents for claims settlement purposes, such as root cause, primary cause, close cause, concomitant causes, accident mechanism, relevant risk factors, etc.
