Corroboração de campo para o método de delimitação de bacias de drenagem com alta suscetibilidade à geração de corrida de massa e enxurrada

Abstract:

For the determination to debris flow/flash flood and flash flood susceptibility drainage basins generation, in the context of mapping in the scale 1: 25.000, the method is based in morphometric parameters. Area and range of the watershed were considered for this analysis. Those parameters are used to calculate the Melton Index. A total of 111 municipalities were mapped in the Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Santa Catarina and São Paulo states. The total number of municipalities mapped 59 have susceptible debris flows basins, 29 in Santa Catarina, 20 in São Paulo, 07 in the Espírito Santo, 02 in Minas Gerais and 01 in Paraná. For flash flood basin were mapped 21 (08 Santa Catarina, 07 São Paulo, 03 Minas Gerais, 02 Paraná and 01 Espírito Santo). The morphometric analysis for delimitation debris flow and flash flood susceptible drainage basins showed consistency with past events supporting the modeling applicability. We point out that details of fields work will be necessary to determine debris flow paths and deposition.
