Automated test plataform to evaluate conformance of intelligent

Abstract:

One of the main challenges in ITS is to verify the interoperability of all components quickly and efficiently, both in the development environment, as well as in real scenarios. Therefore, establishing a methodology, and a test platform is essential to be able to assess conformance with standards, criteria and business rules in complex environment during development, as well as the interoperability requirements for regulatory agencies. However, if all tests in the verification protocol were manually executed, this would require a huge effort and the likelihood of human errors. Hence, automating the process becomes essential to enable a sensible reduction of cost and times together with the enhancement on precision, reliability and repeatability of the process. This paper describes the methodology through automated testing of an ITS equipment using standardized platform TTCN-3 for approval of conformity of Electronic Toll Collection in Brazilian scenarios.
