Abstract:
In industrial combustion processes, the emission of gases which, treated or not, are released into the atmosphere is inevitable. The knowledge of the composition of these gases is essential for the safety, operation, and optimization of processes, as well as for the control of environmental pollution. This text discusses discontinuous, continuous, semi-continuous instruments and methods for measuring the most common constituents of gases.
