Abstract
This work has for objective to presente two cases histories of printed circuit board due to stray current, studied by the Laboratory of Corrosion and Surface Treatment of the Metallurgy Division of IPT. In one of the boards, the failure happened just in the presence of water and in the other, in the presence of water and pollutants. The difference of behavior was attributed at the voltage level of each case.
