Abstract:
The carbono steels exhibit adequate mechanical properties and low production cost. These conditions led them to be the main group of structural materials used worldwide. However, they are susceptible to corrosion and require protection surface. Nanotechnologiy comes collaborate in this difficult task of corrosion protection through the incorporation of nanoparticles into various types of coatings that stand out in organic coatings (paints).
