Approval for invoice ticket printers (ECF) for retail sales is a mandatory requirement of the Finance Council (CONFAZ), without which no equipment of this type is allowed on the market. The Fiscal Applications Program (PAF-ECF), which is responsible for outlet cash registers, must also be homologated by institutions duly accredited by the COTEPE/ICMS regulation, such as IPT.
