Good knowledge of the characteristics of the different segments involved in the production system of mineral products is essential to optimize and plan the economically feasible, socially and environmentally sustainable use of these resources. To this end, IPT performs specialized diagnoses and analyses along the entire production chain, addressing technical, economic and legal aspects of mining rights, environmental permits, taxation, tax and financial incentives, manpower, etc.
These studies serve not only to solve specific problems but also to underpin public interest programs and projects, on a regional or state scale, with a view to the technical and legal alignment of mining enterprises, technological modernization of the production park, and to draw up a panorama of the availability of mineral resources in the state.
