The effect of recovery annealing on the magnetic and mechanical properties of non-oriented electrical steels

Compartilhe:
Abstract:

Recovery annealing was studied in Fe-0.7Si electrical steel processed by cold rolling. The samples were annealed on temperatures of 300, 400 and 500°C for 30, 60 and 90 minutes in inert nitrogen atmosphere. No samples suffered recrystallization. From these samples were obtained magnetic losses and the value of yield strength by means of tensile test. From this data it could be seen the higher sensitivity to the recovery of the magnetic properties characterized by the magnetic losses when compared with the mechanical properties represented by the yield strength.
