IPT develops projects on demand for the validation of new methods and instruments for measuring chemical and physicochemical properties. These projects are carried out aiming, initially, to identify the most important evaluation parameters (precision, tendency, limits of quantification, etc.)
A feasibility analysis is made of the experiment to validate a method or instrument, considering the availability of standards, primary comparison methods and the need for verifying reproducibility in a group of laboratories, among other conditions. When possible, a complete experimental plan is developed and executed, allowing for an assessment of the effectiveness of the method or instrument under study and its intended applications.
