IPT offers real scale monitoring and measuring services on board ships and platforms. The work is performed by instrumentation specialists who monitor movements, forces and other variables during operations at sea in order to solve specific design or operating problems.
The Institute also combines hydrodynamic, structural analysis, and ship and offshore platform measurement and instrumentation technologies to solve operational problems encountered at sea. The combination of these three competencies and the operational experience of our teams working on ships and platforms contribute to the improvement of innovative designs, from the initial sketches to instrumentation and analysis of operational data.
